Austin's bouncy seat has definitely been my favorite of all his baby gear items. For the past 5 months, it has allowed me to shower and fix dinner on days when it would otherwise not have been possible. That is why I am a little sad that we had to officially retire the bouncy seat this week. Even strapped in tightly (which has always been a must for him), Austin has learned how to contort his body in ways that make the bouncy seat rather dangerous. The picture below is of the trick that finally required the bouncy seat to be put away. Austin learned how to get a toy that had been dropped on the floor while still in his bouncy seat.
