Baby Blessing

Last night was our church's annual Baby Blessing. They set aside a Sunday night to honor the babies that were born in the past year. The parents as well as the church as a whole pledged to raise these children up to know Christ. This year there were 34 new babies!! The photo above doesn't even capture the whole stage. It was a rather chaotic night, but still pretty special. Austin just couldn't stay still during the service with so many children to watch and new sights to take in. When he noticed Walker up front singing, Austin pointed at him and yelled "Daddy" which made several rows turn around and laugh. He then decided he was going to "sing" along quite loudly. (I have been hoping he will get his daddy's singing voice, but that sounded more like mine - yikes! ;-)
When it was our turn to go up on stage, Austin even had "groupies" shouting his name (Thanks, Sydney & Abigail! - Having such beautiful girls shout your name is always good for a guy's ego ;-)
