Karina asked that I post a picture of the cake I made for Christine's baby shower, so here it is. It was my first attempt at a fondant covered cake. It didn't exactly turn out the way I had envisioned in my head, but I learned a lot from the experience that I can use on future cakes.

It looks great! Especially for your first try. Fondant is not easy to work with. I made one cake with fondant and I got so stressed out I don't think I'll ever do it again. =)
You did a great job! There's definitely a learning curve with fondant, but I think it's a fun way to decorate a cake!
