Preschool Spring Program

Yesterday was Austin's Spring Program at preschool. This year's theme was Mother Goose. Once again all of my photos are filled with backs of parents' heads. (Not sure how early one must arrive to get a decent seat ;-)Austin's 2 year old class was the first class on stage. They recited "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "Little Miss Muffet". Actually, the teachers recited and the kiddos just sat there with a look of boredom on their faces for the most part. ;-) This was the one moment where Austin chose to participate a little bit. Of course, once their turn was over, Austin decided he was in the mood to perform afterall and proceeded to march up on stage with the three year olds. Considering the fact that the 3 year olds were wearing a different color he was caught pretty quickly. ;-)

At the end of the program, all of the classes got on stage for a finale. Austin's class remained fairly bored for the first song.

But once the second song ("Who's the King of the Jungle") started, Austin perked up and joined in.
