Underwear = Superpowers

On the days when we are just going to be hanging out at the house (which doesn't happen often lately), I let Austin wear whatever he wants to. Without fail, that involves his Bob the Tomato t-shirt. On Friday, he paired his favorite shirt with his Thomas underwear which he put on over his diaper. Thomas underwear seems to have the same effect on Austin that Superman Underoos used to have on my brother when he was little. Austin just goes wild. He runs at full speed all over the house, climbing up on furniture and leaping off, dancing like a wild man. It is hilarious! If only it would bestow on him the superpower of potty training. ;-) Sometimes it scares me how little fear Austin has. He will try about anything that he sees someone else do that involves climbing or jumping off things. Walker got a chin-up bar for his birthday. Austin is always begging to use it. He loves hanging from the bar and trying to do chin-ups, but his favorite part is letting go and falling until Walker catches him. The look on his face is pure joy.
