My Roses aren't doing so well this year. Last year they were gorgeous, but this year they seem to be suffering from either a disease or pest of some sort. I am out of ideas on how to make them better, so today I decided to let Austin have a try. After all, he was in charge of the gardens last year and the plants thrived under his gentle touch (and excessive watering ;-).
Because of our busy schedule as of late as well as fairly frequent rains this spring, this was the first time this year that Austin got to put his gardening skills to use. It took him a minute or two to remember the routine, but before long he was going plant by plant just as he did last year. The only real change was the fact that he is now strong enough turn on the water and use the spray nozzle by himself.
He takes his responsibilites very seriously. After all, the roses are in his hands now. ;-)
